SAVE A LIFE! ADOPT A STRAY! Olmsted Falls Cat Adoption

Kim Mozena and Brandi Lynn Borgia of Olmsted Falls recently began rescuing homeless cats and kittens living near their home. This has been a daunting task, however worth it when they're adopted into loving homes. We are not an official rescue and can only rescue 2 at a time. We also have no place to keep the cats other than a garage; so WE'RE trying to build a foster network if you're unable to adopt full time! learn more>>

*The kittens up for adoption are using the cat litter and are very friendly. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, & treat all the cats and kittens we rescue for fleas, mites, worms etc. And not only that, we give them lots of attention and love which properly socializes them.

WE DO NOT TRAP, NEUTER, AND RELEASE! WE TRAP, NEUTER, & FIND HOMES!

Cats are NOT meant to live outside, at least not in the numbers they're out there. They live a rough life outside, which shows on their bodies. Most of our cats had fleas, ear mites, and worms. That was the minor stuff. Many of them had bite wounds, or other serious injuries from fights, one even arrived with a missnig ear. Some, sadly, had Feline Aids and Leukemia.

The point I'm making is if cats were meant to live outside, they'd not be so ailment ridden when rescued. If they had it so good outside, they'd not be eating your garbage on garbage night. They'd not sleep under your car, or in an open garage, or shed if they didn't seek shelter and warmth.

And the truth is, at least for our Cat Rescue Opertation, MOST OF OUR CATS CAME TO US seeking help! We accept that some cats revert to wild behaviors and may need to live outdoors. However, they still need a barn or other suitable weatherproof shelter & regular access to food and water. We have found most cats are tameable and indeed crave human companionship.

We are seeking Foster Care Volunteers to participate in our life-saving programs. You have the opportunity to provide in-home care to special needs cats or kittens in injury/surgery recovery.

Volunteers receive animal-care training & can determine the types of animals they wish to care for. In return, the animals are able to become successfully adopted, while preventing shelter over-population. learn more>>

Please be sure to read all of the materials we've gathered about socalizing your new cat or kitten upon arrival into your home.

Cats don't arrive like dogs, eager and excited. They're scared and will undoubedly hide if you don't properly introduce them.
